The use of sound for healing, balancing and spiritual growth is an ancient and universally found practice. All religions make reference to our origin from sound.” In the beginning was the word” Nada Brahma” The world is sound. In a modern day prayer by Angela Galik called ” Prayer for Calling Up Song” she refers to our being sung into existence. The power of sound to alter physical matter has been adopted by modern medicine and the energetic healing properties are also more commonly accepted now than they were 20 years ago when I began my exploration of Sound Healing. While I have studied several energy modalities including cranio-sacral therapy,reflexology, Usui and Karuna Reiki,and Soma Energetic tuning forks my main focus is the use of the human voice as a healing instrument. This healing is not restricted to the physical body, but also emotional and spiritual health.
My introduction to vocal toning,the use of the voice as a healing tool, came through a workshop with a healer named Shirley Mitchell on 11/11/1990 and was a profound and life altering experience. One of the first changes was in my giving up smoking. I arrived at the workshop smoking in excess of a pack of cigarettes daily which I had to follow with an inhaler to treat the chronic asthmatic bronchitis I had. At the end of the day I threw away the cigarettes and soon after was able to also eliminate the inhaler. My studies of vocal toning have led me to work with leaders in the field of sound healing including Jonathan Goldman,Kay Gardner and Joy Gardner. I am certified in Joy Gardner’s Vibrational Alignment Program.
I believe that each of us needs to regain our authentic voice and to recall the pure tone of creation that we are. Through the reclaiming off our soul’s song we can restore balance within ourselves and in our world. This is the foundation of the workshops I’ve titled Call It All Back.

Doe Hart will be using her Amazing Voice in an interactive Toning & Sound Workshop that promises to take each person on an incredible journey to the core of their Being and Divine Self. Doe’s unique workshops are part meditative concert, part interactive toning and are always a surprise as Spirit guides the events as they unfold for the Greatest Good of the group. Brad Foreman, an accomplished didgeridoo player and recording artists will be joining Doe on stage to further deepen the experience! Join them and Tone your way into the new Energy!
